DANIEL BOARDMAN (say 1633–1708), son of Thomas Boreman and Hannah Offing
HANNAH HUTCHINSON (bp. 1639–1723), daughter of Richard Hutchinson and Alice Bosworth
Daniel Boardman was born say 1633. [1] He died on 27 April 1708 in Topsfield. [2] He married Hannah Hutchinson on 12 April 1662 in Ipswich. [3]
Hannah Hutchinson was baptized on 20 June 1639 in Salem. [4] She died in 1723 in Topsfield. [5]
By a deed on 26 February 1661 from Thomas Boreman to Daniel, if Daniel should died [before Thomas?], Thomas's wife Margaret should get half of his estate after Thomas's death. If Daniel outlived his father, and wished to dispose of his farm, he was to give his brother Thomas the right of first refusal. [5, 3:271] On 26 September 1665 Daniel sued his father. Richard Hutchinson and Nathaniel Putnam testified that Thomas had agreed with Richard Hutchinson that if Daniel married Richard's daughter Hannah, that Thomas would give his son a deed to half of his house and land upon condition that if Daniel died before his father, Hannah would get 100 pounds and Thomas would get his property back. Otherwise, Daniel would get the other half less 200 pounds. Thomas build a new house and gave Daniel the choice of which one he wanted. [6, 3:270]
Daniel was a yeoman of Ipswich until 1665 when he bough the farm of William Evans in Topsfield and moved there. [5] He was a selectman in Topsfield in 1668 and 1669. [5]
Richard Hutchinson left his daughter Hannah and her husband Daniel Bordman a bequest in his will of 19 January 1679. [6, 8:433–5]
In March 1672, Daniel Borman, constable of Topsfield, was fined for not returning his warrant for juryman. [6, 5:21]
Daniel's mother left him a bequest in her will of 8 August 1679 and she left his wife a new hat. [1]
